Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

DEBRA is the national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – a painful genetic skin blistering condition which, in the worst cases, can be fatal. We fund pioneering research and provide care and support to individuals and families living with EB.

Story

                                                                  We Did it!!!!!!!

We compleated the London Marathon in 5 hours and 56 minutes, which was just under our target time! so we are both very happy! We have also managed to raise over the amount we wanted for Debra, which is also amazing!

Thank you to everybody for all your support and donations, you all made this possible!

We are taking part in the Virgin 2010 London Marathon to raise money for the charity Debra, Please help us raise our target which is £6,000!

Nat and I have been working together for around 3 years at the Griffin pub, during this time we have become close friends. We only started running in May 2009 as a way to get fit and somehow it has gone from doing the Addidas Womens 5k Challenge to taking on the 2010 London Marathon.

This is a massive challenge for us and something we dreamt of doing, but in reality never thought it would happen. Not only will this be an enormous personal achievement for us, but the money we need to raise is going to a very special cause. Through working at the pub we met Mick and his son Oliver. Oliver sufferes from the condition called EB, Debra is the charity which supports people with this condition and is really a cause worth supporting. The money we hope to raise won't provide a cure, but will help to make a small difference in their day to day struggle. So please any donations big or small are greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
