But Alzheimers Is For Old People

Edinburgh Marathon Festival 10km 2016 · 28 May 2016 ·
I am pushing myself to the next level to run a 10k, last year was a 5k!
Alzheimers is a horrible disease, and i am raisng awareness for those effected under the age of 65 - like my mum who was diagnosed at the age of 56.
Many people probably believe that they will end up with Alzhiemers when they are old and we need to dispel this myth pronto.
Alzheimers is an illness that can effect anyone at any age, it is NOT a natural part of aging and DOES NOT just effect 'old people' and we need to make more people aware of this.
Alzheimers is also not just about forgetting things, you lose the ability tondo the most simple of taks ie write, read, walk upstairs unaided, shower unaided, go to the toilet at the right time - the list goes on.
Alzheimers steal a persons complete identity and can change them all together.
Please help in raising my target and share our story, so that more people are aware of what Alzheimers really is.
