The Seagulls Christmas List 2010 Hi, we're the seagull project, and we want to be added to your christmas list! Luckily we don't have expensive tastes! We were just hoping that you might give us a little something, that when added to lots of other little gifts we can turn into a life changing,emotionally uplifting experience for some of the worlds poorest people! Its really as simple as that! Just a few pounds in the right hands, can make a mighty difference. As many of you already know the Seagull movement is up and running with hundreds of warm hearted supporters and friends. We have met,worked with and entertained over 15'000 people across Romania in the last few years, not to mention our U.K events. We are insistant that the project remains solely for the purpose of spreading laughter and fun. Our motto is 'we're just after your laughter', and using music,circus and art we can cheer up near enough anyone. We work indiscrminately with all groups including orphanages, street groups,elderly,disability,homeless, and terminally ill. Our opinion is that quality of life is a right, as is a good belly laugh, and so even in the hardest of circumstances its important to be entertained and amused. We do not take a wage, and do not have any overheads. We use all funds directly to cover project cost's and buy the equipment. As if that wasn;t enough, we give all the kit away so they can play on without us! Go on, its not alot, its less than two mulled wines in a pub,better than a boots voucher, or another pair of socks!. 2011 - We will be on the road for the year visiting Cambodia, Romania and India.
