Story

Hi All,

Thanks for visiting Nathan Glass's justgiving page.

Organised by the team that bring you the world famous Flora London Marathon, the adidas Half Marathon takes place on 15th March 2009 over 13.5 miles at the historic Silverstone motor racing circuit.

Nathan Glass is attempting his first ever run in memory of his brother Paul’s late fiance Jodie Adams, who tragically lost her battle with a Brain Tumour in December 2006 aged just 28 years.

Since Jodie’s death her family and friends have set up the Jodie Meri Adams fund which runs alongside the Samantha Dixon Brain Tumour Trust to raise money for research into this disease.  Brain Tumours are the second largest killer in under 40’s in theand research into their diagnosis and treatment is vastly underfunded.  What the Jodie Meri Adams fund is pledging to do is to support a Post Graduate each year to assist in researching to help find a cure to this terrible disease.  So far through different events we have raised over £30000 since Jodie’s death and your support of Nathan would be much appreciated by Jodie’s family and friends as well as the money going to a really worthwhile cause.

We are proud of Nathan’s efforts in running the adidas half marathon and with the junk he is carrying in his trunk I am sure it will be like running a full one!!!

Thanks

Paul
