The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thank you for visiting our individual sponsorship page.

Biggart Baillie LLP have volunteered to participate in The Prince's Trust Challenge.  This means that we have to raise as much money as we can for The Trust by 30 November 2007.  All profits made will go towards supporting The Trust's work with young people.  The Trust helps over 4,000 young people per annum in Scotland to reach their full potential through financial aid, self development opportunitities and mentor support.

Our team is commited to not only raising significant amounts of money but also helping to raise awareness about The Trust.  Our fundraising ideas are centred around the theme of creating a brighter future for not only the young people that The Trust support but also the population of Scotland as a whole.  We aim to do this through a variety of 'green' themed activities and initiatives and by the creation of National Green Day.   The National Green Day events are to be held in Glasgow City Chambers and  George Square, Glasgow between 1 and 3 November 2007.

National Green Day events are being supported by David Gordon, Chief Executive of Windsave Limited and Glasgow City Council.  The first ever Scottish National Green Day will allow businesses a vibrant forum to showcase their environmentally friendly products, policies and services to consumers.  The whole event will focus on educating the general public as to how easy it is to be green and  how simple steps to reduce their energy usage can have a huge impact  on reducing their carbon footprint.

We hope that you will support this event by making a donation to The Trust.  In doing so you will not only help support the young people of Scotland but will also help create a greener Scotland.

Thank you for your support.
