Local Business have chosen to Support Young Carers.

Please help us to give Young Carers back their childhood.

Have you ever stopped to think about the  issues young carers face on a daily basis?    Young carers’ are children under the age of 18 who look after someone in their family who has an illness, a disability, a mental health problem or a substance misuse problem, taking on practical and/or emotional caring responsibilities that would normally be expected of an adult.

The Event:

Neill Butler and Ellie Hughes are going to Canoe the whole length of the non-tidal Thames, with the help of thier support team Keith Shuker and Julia Ball. Starting at Cricklade High Bridge to Teddington Lock. a TOTAL of 135.5 MILES.

Date: 5th Jun - 9th June 2009
