Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for Macmillan Cancer Support.

I haven't been on a bike since I was 15, so doing 40 miles in the Dorset Macmillan Bike Ride on Sunday, July 5 might be a bit of a challenge for an overweight old bloke like me.

But I rather like the feel of Lycra and the joy of the wind in my hair and the flies in my teeth is worth all the training I'm currently doing.

This is mainly along the promenade between Sandbanks and Southbourne, where I can be heard in the evenings singing loudly and very embarrassingly to Bruce Springsteen songs on my MP3 player.

If you sponsor me, I will love and respect you forever and if you are allied to a local company, you will given a free two-page spread in the wonderful Daily Echo.

(Actually, I am lying about the second one).

Thanks for your support and I promise I will be wearing it on the day.

Neal
