Please help me raise money for the stroke association and support me running the London Marathon 2018. In 2016 my gorgeous wife Sarah suffered a unsuspected stroke at the age of 34. Due to the quick thinking of her work colleague and the brilliant care and speed of the emergency services Sarah made a quick and successful recovery. Looking back at the time all this happened the out come could have been very different and I hate thinking about what me and my 3 boys would have had to deal with if the help wasn't there and things turned out differently. With this big impact happening in our life's I decided I needed to give something back, with my love of running and the chance to run the London Marathon for charity it was a no brainier and this is why I need everyone's support. I would love to raise as much money as I can for the Stroke Associations as this is the least I can do and also make people awear that strokes don't just happen to older people. Please please please be as generous as you can and I promise I won't let you down, The more money I raise the harder I'll train and the quicker the finishing time will be 💪🏻

Not only am I running the London Marathon but I’m running several half marathon so please please give generously to carry me through the miles

Every year thousands of people are left with devastating disabilities after a stroke. In the UK, someone has a stroke every three and a half minutes. This adds up to 152,000 strokes every year, 25% of strokes happen to those under the age of 65.

How does your money help?

£310 allows The Stroke Association to provide information to up to 50 families affected by stroke. £168 can buy a month’s supply of a drug tested for use in reducing brain damage after stroke. £155 allows The Stroke Association to provide a stroke survivor or their carer with a grant for food, electricity, or an appliance they desperately need following a stroke. £100 can buy a pulse monitor used in cardiovascular rehabilitation programmes for stroke patients.
