Story

In 1962 a young woman called Ruth Oldham on her third attempt successfully swam from Guernsey to Jersey in just over 15 hours. Since then no one has ever attempted the challenge. At the age of 52 I am hoping to become the first male and Channel Islander to complete the crossing. Weather permitting I will make the attempt in mid August. I am driven to successfully complete the swim for charity and I am delighted to support Brighter Futures who have done such tremendous work in the local Jersey community. I also hope that my fundraising efforts will enable the charity to gain even further recognition and ultimately even greater support in the future as they continue in providing such a valuable service to individuals and ultimately their familes.

I would therefore be grateful for any form of sponsorship you are able to provide. Thank you in advance for making a donation.
