Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page, I am taking part in the 1st Great North Swim in Lake Windermere on Saturday 13th September, and I will be raising money for the British Liver Trust.
If you know me then you will probably know that my Mam had a liver transplant over 13 years ago due to a liver disease called Primary Biliary Cirrhosis. PBC is believed to be an autoimmune disease. This is a disease where the body attacks itself. Why this happens is still not known.
Please dig deep, no matter how large or small the donation it will be greatly appreciated!
For more information from the British Liver Trust http://www.britishlivertrust.org.uk/ and in particular if you would like to know more about Primary Biliary Cirrhosis http://www.britishlivertrust.org.uk/home/the-liver/liver-diseases/primary-biliary-cirrhosis.aspx
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Liver Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
