Situated in Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire, Blythe House Hospice is High Peak's only day-care hospice. The principal activity of the hospice is the provision of specialist palliative care services and support for people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and the extension of support to their families. The services we provide are free to the user but not cost free. We receive less than one-third of our essential running costs from the local Primary Care Trust and we aim to raise £6000 from charitable donations each week.
A £2.50 donation will pay for lunch for one of our clients, £10 will provide art therapy equipment, £20 will pay for a complementary therapy session, £30 means someone will receive a much needed counselling session. Every donation makes a difference. Thank you for your support.
Hello
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. After a few years off for bad behaviour I've decided to chance my legs on another marathon. From experience I can safely say this is going to hurt! To make up for that I'm aiming to raise £1500 (at least) for Blythe House, which offers support and care for people living with cancer, by completing my 4th London Marathon. This charity is particularly important to me as it is based in Chapel-en-le-Frith, close by to friends and family.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Blythe House gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now, and help me to reach my target - no amount is too small, and you can remain anonymous if you wish!
Many thanks,
Neil
