Please help me to raise funds for the Methodist Relief and Development Fund (MRDF) by sponsoring me when I run the 2010 London Marathon.

This will be my eighth London Marathon for charity, but my first for MRDF. I promised to run the Marathon on behalf of MRDF back in 2003 - and now I have the chance!

MRDF works with some of the poorest communities in the world and focuses its help in ways that really make a difference. For example, in Bangladesh, it helps to provide hot meals, shelter and education to street children, in Mali the charity funds vital health education for mothers of malnourished children and in El Salvador, MRDF provides training to farmers to help them work their way out of poverty.

Your sponsorship will help the charity to carry out this life-changing work in many countries.
