As many of you will be aware, I lost my mother to a series of brain tumours which she valiantly battled with for 5 years. Hammer out is a fundraising group which aims to raise awareness and provide support to those whose lives are affected by brain tumours. To help raise funds to support this organisation, I have decided to complete my first Triathlon in July 2009 at Dorney Lake.

Somehow, I have to swim 750 metres (in a lake!), then cycle 20kms and then run 5kms to complete my mission. Wish me luck!
