My story
Thanks for visiting our young peoples fundraising page.
This page is raising funds to help young people who have lived in care in Scotland to experience the challenge of a lifetime. They are each trying to raise enough money to allow them to take part in the Who Cares? Scotland Bhara Pokhi trek in Nepal in Nov 2009, and make a contibution to the work of Who Cares? Scotland and Community Action Nepal.
The money raised in this page will be used to compliment the young peoples own fundraising efforts, and hopefully make that vital difference in ensuring they can make their minimum target of £1,980 each required to participate.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Who Cares? Scotland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor the young people now!

Who Cares? Scotland
Charity Registration No. SC026076
Who Cares? Scotland is Scotland's leading national independent advocacy organisation working with children and young people (up to age 25) in care in Scotland. We provide a wide range of services to young people including advocacy, advice, information and support. We also consult and listen to young people, campaign for positive change, help policy makers hear the views of young people, bring young people together and include them in the governance of the organisation. By selecting Who Cares? Scotland you are helping us to continue to make a positive change to the lives of Scotland's young people who are or have been looked after and accommodated away from home. 'It's hard to speak out on your own but by working together we will have a stronger voice'.
