This event is close to all of our hearts, as many of you know, our young Irish kid Brian was being looked after at QMC Nottingham from July 19th 2009, he has now been moved over to Linden Lodge to start his rehabilitation. We will never be able to show our immense gratitude to the staff in Neurology D11 enough for what they did for the kid, the care they have given to our Brian will never be overlooked, and their welcoming smiles, everytime we went to visit, always lifted our spirits. We also want to show our thanks to the staff at Linden Lodge, who have continued this fantastic care and are doing a super job with Brian.
Our way of saying thank you to both D11 and Linden Lodge, is to set out on a 9 mile walk around Chatsworth House on Sunday 25th October 2009, and raise some money for this fantastic cause. Anybody is welcome to join us, the more the merrier, even if it is just to support us at the end and celebrate with a few drinks!
So please dig deep and donate now, as these amazing people have given our Brian his winning smile back and we need to say thank you for that. (Donated money will be split 50/50 between Neurosciences and Linden Lodge).
