Story

Hello my dear, wonderful friends!

In September I will be embarking on a 3 week adventure called The Rickshaw Run, a charity race where I ride across the entire country of India...in a motorized rickshaw!

A rickshaw is a severely underpowered hodge-podge of metal and duct tape, and is in no way intended to survive this 1,600+ mile journey.  It's not a question of *if* it will break down...it's *when* and how often!

Why am I doing this? Because it's a brilliant mix of adventure and charity!  The official charity of The Rickshaw Run is the Frank Water project, which provides clean drinking water solutions to underdeveloped countries.  FRANK Water Projects has to date allocated funding for 78 clean water plants in India, reaching more than half a million people. I can't imagine life without clean water, but unfortunately for many many people...it's their reality.

So help me out and support my charity adventure!  My goal is 500 British Pounds (which is around $800 USD).  But hopefully we'll beat that!

Thank you and "Namaste" :D
