Some of you may know that Nevin served in Afghansistan with the Army last year - this expedition is being organised in memory of Sean Reeve - a friend and also a Reserve TA Soldier with our Squadron who was killed in Helmand Province.
Nevin Sood and Allen Morgan have organised and self funded an expedition to Mount Everst in Nepal in September 2009. Thier intention is to reach Everest Base Camp at 5,360m. They will then climb up to Gokyo Ri via Cho La Pass at 5,483m.

Weather and other elements permitting they may attempt a push to Camp 1 at 6,100m.
