Hi and thank you for visiting my online fundraising page!
This is the trip of a lifetime for myself to see one of the wonders of the world but that's not really what it's all about!
Most people will know the history with my mum and dad both being diagnosed with cancer 9 years ago now and thankfully they are still with us today! This is my own chance now to give something back for that as I am sure many of you would also do, given the fact that nearly all of us have been touched by cancer in some way!
It's a big challenge in many ways! I have started the ball rolling by giving up smoking and I'm currently 2 months smoke free! I have also started training at the gym and with the help of a personal trainer I am sticking at it even though the old bones are sore most of the time!
Probably the greatest initial challenge is the fundraising and that's where you come in! I'm going to be doing a lot of things over this next 10 months to raise money myself but individual donations through this site would be a massive help!
