Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am undertaking this cycling challenge to raise money in memory of Nathan Cook who tragically and suddenly died from cancer aged just 14. Nathan really enjoyed his sport - particularly rugby - and was always up for a challenge himself. The challenge is to cycle from my home near Newark to Edinburgh,a distance of around 270miles in one day !!(maddest thing i have ever done!)I will be setting off at midnight on Sunday 3rd June and hope to arrive in Edinburgh by 9pm. I am well-past the first flush of youth at 54 and I will be riding on my own with just one car as back up. I have never ridden this distance on the road before so I'm going to have to dig really deep for this one! I hope you will support me in raising money for this excellent cause.
