We are going to be taking part in the Great Manchester Run 2010 to help raise money for a fantastic cause and we need your support!
Bury Hospice have been at their original site in Dumers Lane since 1991, providing care to patients and their families 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year completely free of charge.
Sadly, the size of the building has made it difficult to admit patients needing some larger specialist equipment and there have been occasions where they have been unable to admit people for in-patient care which is why Bury Hospice are on the move.
The new, larger better equipped hospice will increase in-patient bedrooms from 5 to 10 and allow Bury Hospice to care for more people and in different ways. £5 million is needed to build, equip and open the new hospice which will be on the former site of St Bede’s church.
The hospice has a development fund in place of £2.5 million and needs help to raise the other £2.5 million to make this happen. That’s where you come in. Your donation, no matter how small, will help make this dream a reality.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
