My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page,

On the weekend of the 6 / 7 June 2009 I will be competing in the 3 Peaks Challenge. The objective is simple, to climb the 3 highest peaks in Great Britain (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) in under 24 hours and in the process raise as much money as possible for the Newlove Campaign.

You will no doubt be familiar with the story of Garry Newlove, who was brutally attacked and murdered outside his home in Warrington, Cheshire in August 2007, after confronting 3 youths about vandalism.

Newlove Warrington, the brainchild of Helen Newlove was established in response, and aims to generate a greater sense of community, by motivating and inspiring young people to lead more enriched and fulfilling lives.

Launched in November 2008, the campaign aims to raise £1m in the first year so any donations you can make to support my efforts in the 3 peaks will be very much appreciated by myself and the Newlove Campaign.
