Ysgol Cedewain is a special school providing an education for pupils from 2½ to 19 years who have a wide range of learning difficulties. Currently, there are 113 pupils on roll.
We are situated in Newtown, Powys amidst beautiful countryside where pupils can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. The school is well resourced with skilled staff and specialist equipment. Our Teachers and Learning Support Assistants work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to ensure the very best care and education for each and every pupil. The School however has to invest in specialist equipment which is unfortunately expensive in order to provide the best experiences for the pupils. At the moment the school wants to update their mini-bus, so we have set up this page to collect funds to go towards this very inportant resource. The pupils gain so much from going out on trips and this specially adapted mini bus enables the pupils to get out and about and see sights and have new experiences outside the class room.
