A group of 14 friends - Ken Broad, Simon Broad, Gary Parkman, Barry Bowen, Paul Grubert, Mark Bagshaw, Steve Bowers, Chris Jones, Tim Roberts, Sam Westwood, Ian Barton, Chris Leese, Nick Allcock and Phil Evans, recently completed the arduous Raid Pyrenean, a 450 mile ride involving 11000m of climbing along the French Pyrenees mountains from the Atlantic to the Mediteranean.

The distance had to be completed in under 100 consectutive hours and after riding for an average of 10 hours per day the team arrived in Cerbere with only minutes to spare, highlighting the rigours of the challenge.

It is hoped a number of local and national charites will benefit from this event, including the Layla Pitt Remembrance Fund, Newport First Responders and amongst which is WE ARE MACMILLAN, to whom you can donate directly via this page,

Many thanks to all those that have already supported our quest and to those who will do so in the future.
