Hi

 

The Firewalk is taking place Saturday 24th October 2009 and Tameside Radio is hoping to gain as much money as possible for Willow Wood Hospice.

 

I am going to be walking 20 feet over buring embers after a 2 hour training session. Apparently, I have to step out onto wood which is burning at over 1200 degrees F. They tell me I won't burn, fingers-crossed.

 

So basically, i'm asking you to donate as much or as little as possible for this great cause. Willow Wood staff and volunteers are committed to providing a better quality of life - the Hospice was designed with the needs of the patients and their families in mind and provides a warm and cheery atmosphere.
