My story

We are very much looking forward to our birthday celebrations in 2012, and to catching up with family and friends whenever possible. We are especially delighted that so many will be joining us for our party on 20th May.

Over the years our home has afforded us a good deal of pleasure - its contents augmented from time to time with carefully chosen gifts, all much appreciated. But at this stage in our lives, the gifts that matter most have no weight - and friendship is the best one of all.

That said, we would like to mark our birthdays by supporting the wonderful work currently being undertaken by The Woodland Trust to create a brand new forest on our doorstep. Heartwood is very special to us, and by sponsoring the planting of more trees you would give it even greater significance.

Will you help us to raise £1000 for Heartwood during 2012, which would enable us to plant about 70 trees? We cannot think of a better way to mark our 70th birthdays!
