Hi All,

5 years after completing the London Marathon and swearing to never do one again, I have succumbed to the masochistic challenge again and will soon find myself lining up to take part in the ING New York Marathon on 1st November'09.(mad fool that i am!!) Training has been much harder this time round!! (not that the increased maturity of my age has a contributory factor!!) and i have endured aches and pains in places you would not possibly have imagined??   

Not wishing to complete this monumental task solely for personal glory, i have decided, for personal family reasons, to dedicate my run to raising sponsorship monies for Breast Cancer Care, a registered charity which specialises in providing much needed information and support for anyone unfortunate enough to be affected by breast cancer.

I have set myself a goal of raising in excess of £5,000 for this worth while charity and would welcome each of your donations (both big or bigger!!) as a significant step towards me reaching my overall target.
