The money you donated will go towards assisting children in Asia who were affected by the Earthquake in October 2005 To obtain education and psychological support to help them with the trauma of losing family and friends.
The Aim is to raise £14,000 which will go towards creating 10 schools.
Even more exciting is that with the help of Action Aid I will determine if one of the 14 schools we are making can be equip to help children who are blind and who otherwise would be overlooked by society. I will personally advise on how best to equip the school and will talk to the children to hopefully inspire them of their potential. if the society they live in can see that visually impaired children can be high achievers it will lift the expectation of the rest of the community about achieving more for themselves.
