I've done it!
It wasn't easier than 3 years ago - nor was it as quick. But I managed 4h15'47" and had a mostly nice day. I can thoroughly recommend sponge cake soaked in champagne: it's an official pick-me-up endorsed by a renowned trainer (though admittedly in 1911..)
I've got nearly £2000 in sponsorship for St John Ambulance, if you count the gift aid.
You never know, though: there may still be people who will sponsor me!
