Story

I have decided to run the London Marathon in memory of my little girl Niamh who lost her fight for life against complex epilepsy and mitochondrial disease in February 2009.

After Niamh's death we met an amazing couple Liz & Dave who lived just round the corner from us in Warlingham, and they had lost their dauhter Lily to a similar condition to Niamh 2 years before. They had already set up a charity in Lily's memory which has grown incredibly in the last couple of years.

The charity funds a gene testing program which will help thousands of other families who's children suffer from these rare and currently incurable conditions. They also support families of affected children.

This charity is very close to our hearts and we would be forever grateful if you could please help us raise money to help other children like Niamh & Lily. Anything you can give will be a huge help as £2,000 is a lot to raise in a recession!
