We’re the National Deaf Children’s Society. We're the charity for deaf children with any level of hearing loss. Whatever the question or challenge, we’ll help find a way through. We believe in a world where anything is possible for deaf children.

Story

Please help me raise funds for the NDCS :)

I continue to donate to this fund, and will do so until I have matched the costs of this trip!

That means that all the money you donate as sponsorship will go to help the NDCS carry out their excellent work!

Here are a few facts for you:

  • There are 35,000 deaf children in the UK and three more are born every day.
  • 90% of deaf children are born to hearing parents with little or no experience of deafness or knowledge of how to communicate with a deaf person.

Your money can help make a change!

£10 - provides high quality information and support for five people working with deaf toddlers

£15 - gives a family with a newly identified deaf baby 30 minutes of free confidential support and information in over 100 languages from a fully qualified worker on our national Helpline

£50 - allows NDCS to work directly with a family, supporting them to get the education and welfare benefits entitled to their child

£100 - provides 25 families with the information they need to know when they first find out their baby is deaf

£250 - allows two deaf children to participate in an NDCS run arts workshop

£500 - provides a Teletext TV and Video to a deaf child from a low income family through our Freddy Bloom Children's Equipment Fund

Thanks for your support!
