Each year I cycle in the region of 2000 to 2500 km in various events all over the country

 

However, in March 2010 I have undertaken to put this effort to better use and will be participating in Cycle2Cannes, a sponsored charity ride starting in London with Cannes in the South of France as my goal.

 

My personal target is to raise £3000, so all donations big and small will be appreciated.  I know we are all inundated with requests for sponsorship , which is especially difficult in this current economic cycle, but this is the first sponsored event that I have entered since the Leicester Marathon in 1984, so if you are able please dig deep as the charities are all worthwhile. 

 

It's also important to stress that the sponsorship target is exclsusive of the cost of my participation, you needn't worry, you aren't funding my trip.
