As you know myself,Andy, radio's very own Rick Kelsey and captain of the Mighty Bensons Patrick Spencer are planning to cycle from Marin County to Mexico in around two weeks during Easter 2010. In the run up to this we will be holding various fund raising events, auctions etc to raise money on the back of this trip for The Cardiomyopathy Association, a charity that has been close to both of our hearts for some time now.
This escapade is designed to be a bit of fun for us and an oppurtunity to raise some money and raise some awareness for The Cardiomyopathy Association.
Any donation that you can make would be fantastic. Please bear in mind that, although it sounds like a very pleasant trundle along the Californian coast, this will involve quite a lot of effort on our part to complete successfully. And at approximately 1100 and 1500 pending our route, we're going to need some very comfortable cycling shorts...
