Following 14 weeks of intensive training, I will be aiming to get around the London course in less than 4 hours - from past experience, I know this will feel more like 14 hours. 

In order to make all this effort and pain worthwhile - I am raising money for Children's Heart Federation; a small, under-funded charity who support the 1 in 133 children who are born with heart defects.  Our team at HSBC supported them when we ran New York in 2006 and I would like to keep this connection going.
