Nick runs the London Marathon... Again... Some people never learn!

Hi everyone,

For those of you who know me, you'll know that I run a lot. In fact, you'll probably know that I ran the London Marathon last year. Well, I've decided to lace up my running shoes one more time and complete the London Marathon 2009 on behalf of a genuinely fantastic charity called Coeliac UK. Coeliac UK plays an incredibly important role in my life, as both my niece and girlfriend are affected by Coeliac disease. I genuinely hope that with your kindness, generosity and support, I can do my part in giving something back to the charity that has helped some of the most important people in my life. Even if it's only a few pounds, your donation can truly help to make a difference.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Coeliac UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

And just as a sweetener to the deal - I feel compelled to go one better than last year and make the London Marathon the final cherry on a massive running cake. As well as London, I plan to run a whole series of races over the coming months, including four half marathons. Some will be in my Coeliac UK charity running vest... Others may be (shudder...) in fancy dress... So if you like the idea of me humiliating myself and running long distances in ridiculous clothes, then please - support me by making a donation, no matter how big or small.

Coeliac UK is the only charity in the UK, which supports those with coeliac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis. It receives no government funding and is dependent on the generosity of the public to fund practical support, awareness raising and research into the condition.
