My story

Nick runs the London Marathon... Again... Some people never learn!

Hi everyone,

For those of you who know me, you'll know that I run a lot. In fact, you'll probably know that I ran the London Marathon last year. Well, I've decided to lace up my running shoes one more time and complete the London Marathon 2009 on behalf of a genuinely fantastic charity called Coeliac UK. Coeliac UK plays an incredibly important role in my life, as both my niece and girlfriend are affected by Coeliac disease. I genuinely hope that with your kindness, generosity and support, I can do my part in giving something back to the charity that has helped some of the most important people in my life. Even if it's only a few pounds, your donation can truly help to make a difference.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Coeliac UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

And just as a sweetener to the deal - I feel compelled to go one better than last year and make the London Marathon the final cherry on a massive running cake. As well as London, I plan to run a whole series of races over the coming months, including four half marathons. Some will be in my Coeliac UK charity running vest... Others may be (shudder...) in fancy dress...
