The Countess of Brecknock Hospice provides outstanding palliative and end-of-life care to people living with life-limiting illness, together with comfort and support for their loved ones and carers. All services are free, testament to our belief that dignity and comfort should be accessible to all.

Story

I will be cycling from John O Groat's (Scotland) to Land's End (Cornwall), starting Thursday 16th July 2009.I am aiming to complete the challenge on Saturday 25th July. Thats 948 miles in 10 days!!!

I am funding the challenge entirely myself and will be camping each night throughout the journey to keep costs to a minimum. This means that 100% of all donations benefit the charity. There are 3 other people involved in the event, Paul Davey (cycling with me) and Chris and Mel Davey(support crew). They are very kindly also funding themselves. This means that 100% of all donations benefit the charity.

I am hoping to raise £5000 in aid of The Countess of Brecknock Hospice (see caption on left) in order to re-vamp their day patients sitting room. This will offer the day patients more comfortable and modern surroundings.

To help me reach the target, please dig as deep as you can. Every single penny counts and will make a difference.
