Firstly, thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
As some of you may know in May of last year my Uncle Graham lost his two year battle with prostate cancer. You may not know that prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men with one diagnosis every 15 minutes in the UK.
In 2008 Graham spent an increasing amount of time at the Sobell House Hospice in Oxford. In my visits there I saw first hand the compassionate and caring staff that work tirelessly to make the patients' lives a little easier.
I wanted to raise some money for the Hospice as a way of saying thank you and when I heard that they had a few places for the London Marathon I jumped at the chance. So on 26 April I will be dragging my body round the 26.2 mile course and this is where I need your help.
Please help me to raise some money for this most personal cause and if you want a real laugh then you can come and watch me run as well!
In the meantime thanks for taking the time to read this.
Nick
