Dear Friends, Thanks for taking the time to visit my sponsorship page. That's the easy bit over now you just need to part with your money ..... Fireflies - what's it all about then ? Well a group of cyclists and myself are going be cycling from Geneva to Cannes via The Alps - up (mainly up) and down some serious mountain roads -the ride starts on the 16th and ends on the 24th of June - yes that is a very long bike ride - we will be covering a staggering distance of just over 1000km - and it's all for charity, namely LEUKA. LEUKA is a charity dedicated to raising money for the haematology unit at the Catherine Lewis Centre at the Hammersmith Hospital. The unit undertakes research in to the causes and treatment of leukaemia. It is believed that achieving a greater understanding of leukaemia will help in the fight against all forms of cancer. My own family has been affected very recently by cancer as have so many others. So please join me, don't worry not literally, by making a donation. BTW; donating through Justgiving is totally secure.
