It provides and installs solar powered lighting into educational establishments in the developing countries. The most recent recipients are a school in Zambia, one in Rwanda and one in Ghana. It has also put lighting into several establishments in Kenya. It's next project, in November, will be in the Phillipines.

Story

This chap on the right is Roger Mugridge, and we're holding a demo briefcase of a solar panel they use to charge car batteries, together with the high power LEDs they use to light schools and community centres.

If they can use rooms after 6pm, they can teach adults trades, or how to be better at their current profession, kids can do homework, without the need to use kerosene lamps (a bigger cause of lung disease than smoking can you beleive).

They're saving up to install their lights in a school in the Philippines later this year.

Dig deep, and I look forward to letting you know how Roger gets on.
