Training for the marathon oh what fun
Monday to Sunday run run run
Snow, wind & rain but no sun sun sun
Long runs short runs slow medium fast
Ive done them all I dont think I'll come last
Decisions, decisions sub 4 sub 3
I dont know, getting round is what matters to me
Injuries Ive had many running to fast or running to far
Manys the time I wished I could teleport - or had a pound for public transport
As if thats not enough Ive got to raise money
And thats so hard its not even funny
Asking for cash for a 26 mile dash
not much to ask for such an awesome task
The raising of funds is what its all about
