The Prince's Trust Palace to Palace 2016 · 2 October 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

I have a bike, but I rarely use it!

The opportunity to cycle the Palace to Palace bike ride came up, and I thought that would be a good challenge! Partly because I should really be using my bike, but also partly as I've noticed by trousers getting a little tight of lately.

Training has been ... interesting! I've learned not to cycle on a flat tyre, the importance of 'clipping out' of your cleats and not falling over. As well as my bike being in a 4ft flood and having to wash off a load of dried on sewage.

The ride is this Sunday - and I'm looking forward to the challenge. Anything you can donate would be great!
