Flora London Marathon 2008 · 13 April 2008 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I have decided to run the Paris Marathon on 6 April and the London Marathon on 13 April - within a week of each other!

I am running for the Stroke Association. Before Christmas, my Grandmother, Irene Dean (pictured left), sadly passed away after suffering many strokes. I am running both the marathons for her and I am hoping to raise at least £2,000 for the Stroke Association.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
