Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through the power of music, it breaks through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation. The charity does this through providing music therapy to people across the UK, whilst also training the music therapists of the future and funding research to measure and improve the impact of its work.

Story

Hello My name is Nick Holmes and welcome to my charity fundraising page (please give me all your money etc.). I have been the vocalist for Paradise Lost since I was in short pants and now I'm swapping grey school ones for black Lycra ones, or tights if its chilly.

Heavy Metal Truants is the worlds first Heavy Metal charity cycle ride from London to Donington Park! And as a huge fan of both cycling & Heavy Metal I jumped at the chance to be involved in this event, and hopefully collect a ton of cash from all you generous folk out there!

In order to take part we will be doing from 26 to 83 grueling miles a day, come rain or shine, so surely that deserves a donation?

I've chosen to donate all the money I raise to Nordoff Robbins, you should know all about them, if you don't please take time to check them out and the great work they do: http://www.nordoff-robbins.org.uk/

Please give generously it's really appreciated, and even if not for me - think of the kids!

Cheers, dig deep & please splash the cash!
