Story
Yes I'm slinging on my running shoes again and raising cash for a great charity - The British Lung Foundation.
As you may or may not know, my Mum died in May 2009 from a long-term, chronic lung disease. The BLF is doing very important work in helping people deal with such illnesses. So please support me (and them) by giving as much as you can. Every penny counts, so even if it's only a couple of quid, it really matters.
I've estimated that I am going to take 10,000 breaths during the marathon, so I intend to make every one count.
And now the small print...
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support.
Nick
