Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online! On May 29th 2008 Nick, Charlie (12 years old) and William Legge (10 years old) are walking up Mount Snowdon to raise money for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. You may be surprised to know that the Air Ambulance is a charity and survives on donations and fund raising.
We will be walking up the Llanberis path which is (supposedly) the easiest but also the longest at 5 miles, and we'll walk back down the same way so in total we'll be covering 10 miles and going up to 3,560 feet above sea level. Why the Air Ambulance? Charlie and Will (and Henry) all play Rugby for Bourne RUFC and have seen the air ambulance in action on several occasions and felt that this would be a good way to raise some money for them. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Lincolnshire And Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Our travel and accommodation costs will all be paid by us so every penny of your donation will go to the air ambulance, so please sponsor us now! Many thanks for your support.
