The challenge I am doing is to run the London Marathon. However, work commitments mean that I will be working on race day itself and in the days beforehand. As a result, I will be running the marathon route through the night of the 21st/22nd April in a bid to raise money for Access Sport, a charity that aims to encourage people across the country to engage in physical activity - for more information on what they are about please go to www.accessssport.co.uk . The start time will be 10.00pm, so fingers crossed if I can cut down on the sausage rolls between now and then I might be able to make it to the Mall by 03.00am. As it stands i will be running on my own but if you know of anyone who might be interested to join me please let me know. I'm also hoping to get a support vehicle sorted and could really do with a few friends dotted in pubs around the course if you are at a loose end.
Access Sport is a truly good cause and I would be really very grateful if you could lend your support in any way.
