Thank you to all those who sponsored me for Dentaid's Inca Trail.  I am very grateful for your support and I still cannot believe that I completed the walk. 
I have to admit that I could have been better prepared as I had assumed that the trail would be like walking in the Lake District.

It was an wonderful adventure seeing some remote parts of Peru, 4 days of walking (mountaineering) to Machu Picchu and all shared with a really friendly group of colleagues.. I would recommend the Trail to all KEEN trekkers but beware of altitude sickness and camp toilets.
