Grand Canyon Challenge · 18 June 2005 to 26 June 2005 ·

Ace is a national disabled children's charity that aims to inform, support and train parents and professionals in the use of technology for young people who have communication difficulties, both in speaking and/or writing.

Story

As most of you know on the 18th of June i leave for the US to tackle the Grand Canyon, trekking over 60 miles in 5 days, camping rough in the canyon before kayaking 14 miles on the last day...arizona in June...great idea eh!

One Man, One Canyon, No Pub (or Pies!) I will be donning my best Indiana Jones hat to make sure i complete this challenge! I'm lucky enough to work with a great bunch of people all dedicated to improving the quality of life for some incredible young people. If you would like to support this work then it would be just great if you would consider sponsoring me.

All money raised from my trek will support the ACE Centre's ground breaking work with disabled children and technology, and allow the charity to purchase vital equipment for use at the centre by the incredible young people we see.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The ACE Centre will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. You can make a straight donation or make a pledge!

So please sponsor me now! There might even be a drink in it for you!

Many thanks for your support.
