Story

The Ann Colin Charity Cycle Tour                                                                                                                        Thankyou for visiting my online fundraising page. I make no apology for requesting some money out of your pockets for this worthy cause.

A lot of you will know that my new EmployHR (yes all puns intended) Access Risk Management Group has within the group Access Charitable Trust. This year we have chosen Breast Cancer Care as our principal nominated charity. As a Corporate Governance Service organisation, you'll know we take our Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously - so much so that as Executive Director I am putting my body on the line & planning with 19 other worthy/insane people to cycle from Marseille to Monaco (over 400km) between the 7th - 10th of June incl.

Our Chairman - Michael Colin amoungst other Voluntary sector commitments is also treasurer and a trustee of Breast Cancer Care. Michael's late wife Ann died of Breast Cancer consequently this has double meaning for the team as we take on the challenge of moving forward.

Michael is coming along as our support vehicle driver (personally I think he may have a tough job in support and if he needs to deal with the locals I've been assured by his wife Denise that his French isn't great - so anything could happen! At least I’ve “just” got to keep turning wheels.)  We've had some amazing support from Breast Cancer Care to get us going, and I believe that the Chair Stephanie Jacobs will be attending our lunch in Monaco. Huge support from Michael's family - especially Denise, who is also coming down to France to cheer us on our way.                                                                                                                                           Please dig deep and sponsor me online. I'm certainly having to dig deep - although as my friends tell me it's about time I got back into the saddle again - although I'm slightly more used to equestrian saddles than mechanical ones!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Breast Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Nicky
