Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Kilimanjaro is generally accepted as the highest ‘walkable mountain’ in the world, standing nearly 6,000 metres above the surrounding plains.  This 6 day trek may not be the most technical challenge but does require enduring significant altitude.  Having suffered some altitude sickness in Peru, I will be getting my knobbly knees out again and really hoping that I can acclimatise to successfully reach Kilimanjaro’s summit.

Although I’ve done several challenges and charity fundraising before, I have decided that this occasion really merits a fundraising effort more than any others before.  So if you are able to see your way to supporting the national charity ‘Mencap’, as a way of showing your support to me and my efforts, but financially supporting the charity, that would be great.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Mencap will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
