I'm running the Edinburgh Marathon this Sunday (25th May) in aid of Animals Asia Foundation.  I started my training last October and could only run half a mile and this will, without doubt, be the most challenging thing that I've ever done!   I'm up to about 14 miles now and hope that with the crowds support and some old injures keeping their distance on the day,  I'll be able to cross the finishing line!! 

For all those of you who know this charity, you will be well aware of the excellent work that they do to end the barbaric practice of bear bile farming in addition to working towards ending the suffering of millions of dogs and cats in the food and fur trades.

The animals have shown so much strength and courage through their ordeal that makes me running 26 miles pale into insignificance but it's my hope that by doing so I'll be able to raise much needed funds for those that need a helping hand.
